Most couples know each other's routines by heart and still miss the things underneath them. The questions here reach for the past rather than the present: childhood, first times, the trips and the moments that shaped how someone turned out. They are the questions that get skipped, because the early years usually get covered once, near the beginning, and then never again.

The format matters more than the list. One of you answers privately, the other guesses, and the score is the gap between what you assumed and what is true. That gap is where the conversation actually starts, and it is why guessing beats simply taking turns asking.
